Chesney Portraits

August 30, 2013 by jenniferlcrook | Leave a Comment

What’s the point of being a photographer and not taking pictures of the people you love? Meet Ava, Millie and Evan (my two nieces and nephew). This was an experimental portrait shoot by window light. My thought behind this session was every mom would love to have that prefect portrait of there child displayed in their home. I started looking around on pinterest and esty for different artists (chalk, pencil, painting, photography). The problem I found was all of the work I saw was; too caricature looking, too cheesy, too modern/artsy, over processed, or on the chance that I loved the artist crazy $$$$$. So here is my first attempt for something a little different as a possible alternative for child’s portrait. I am still in process of how I would offer this as a service but I wanted to share and see what everyone thinks?
